


Once you start reading the first page, you cannot stop. I really enjoyed reading this novel, and I am sure anyone else would too. If I were to rate this book, I would give it a four point five, out of five stars. Point Blank, written by Anthony Horowitz, a New York Times best-selling author, is the type of novel for a reader who enjoys books full of immense intensity, loaded with suspense, and packed with action. These questions are the questions Alex Rider, the main character in this book, has to answer every day. Once your life is in danger, you will have the answers. Many do not know how to answer, while others do. The story continues in the series Sleeper.How badly can the death of a relative affect your life? What would you do if you were forced to become a secret spy? Well, the real question I should be asking is "What would you do if you were forced to do things that would put your life in danger?"(a question quoted from the novel). Grifter returns to the bar to wait for Lynch, leaving Carver within Tao's organisation with no hope of extraction. Tao then erases all memory of the past few days from Grifter's mind. Tao tells Grifter that he had been under Tao's influence and that in fact Grifter himself was the one who shot Lynch. Grifter promises to bring in Carver, but returning to his room, he finds Tao.

Lynch is the only one who knows about Carver's status as an agent and Carver hopes that Grifter can help him now Lynch is in a coma. Grifter is contacted by Holden Carver, a member of Tao's organisation, who turns out to be a sleeper agent.

His investigation leads to Tao, a former member and enemy of Grifter's team the Wildcats. He then finds out that Lynch has been shot and is in a coma.Ĭole decides to avenge Lynch and find out who killed him. Both were soldiers in Team 7 and despite their differences over the years, they still trust each other. It starred Grifter from the Wildcats investigating an attempted murder on his friend John Lynch.Ĭole Cash also known as Grifter is supposed to meet up with his friend John Lynch in a bar. Point Blank was a five-issue comic book limited series written by Ed Brubaker with art by Colin Wilson.
